GOODBYE TEACHER
Goodbye, Teacher.
So long, friends.
I knew this school year had to end.
Goodbye, books.
Computer, too.
There’s so much now that I can do.
I’ll ride my bike
around the block
until I’m over this big shock.
Of no more homework,
no more tests.
It’s time to give my brain a rest!

LAST DAY
We’ve cleaned out our desks.
Mine was a mess,
filled up with papers and glue.
We partied and played
for the rest of the day.
I’m home now…with nothing to do!

GOODBYE SCHOOL
I’ve handed in all of my homework.
My grades are okay, not the best.
We’ve spent all day long doing gym drills.
Though me? I like art class the best.
So now it is time for our leaving.
Goodbye to our teachers and class.
But I am so ready for fun now.
Our summer break’s over so fast.

TIME FOR SUMMER
I’ll float on my back.
I’ll never come back.
I’ll sit in my bathing suit, damp.
I’ll shoot hoops every day.
Go outside, and just play.
Can you spend the whole school year at camp?

LET’S SHOUT!
School’s out.
Let’s shout!
Time to run outside.
Great day!
I say
grab your bike and ride!
No work
to shirk.
No homework or quiz to remember.
All fun.
Let’s run.
We’re free until next September!
